Trip to Hatyai

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 87%

Just one day after I had reached Penang, I went to Hatyai again with my family. This time we went there by tour. Since the trip was ‘free and easy’, it only cost RM138 per person. It is very very~ worth since we were arranged to stay in a 4-star hotel and given a complimentary buffet breakfast!

>Buffet breakfast

> Thai's boundary

It took us nearly 4 hours to reach the hotel (2 hours to reach the boundary Malaysia and another 1 & ½ hours to travel to Hatyai town. After we had placed our luggage in the hotel, we straight away went to shopping in nearby. Since our hotel is located right at the centre of the town, every shopping mall are within walking distance. This was the time I grabbed myself an adidas t-shirt for only 200 Baht. Haha… it is really cheap as the quality is almost 99% similar to those you see in the shopping complex.

Nearly 5pm in Malaysia time, we went to floating market by tut-tut (some sort like taxi but without air-cond). It costs 400B for two ways. Compared to the transport from hotel, we had saved half of the cost travel to floating market. Another plus point is that the tut-tut is equipped with a 19-inch Sumsung LCD TV and a PROTON-brand woofer. The sound is so loud that as we were in the centre of the road, everyone paid their attention on the vehicle!

>Worm~worm~worm~~

>Selling Pao's

>Thai's style sushi

>Bird eye view of floating market

>The cups given to customers who buy drinks

We were given 1 hour in the floating market before he fetched us back to the hotel. There are so many food sold in the market such as pancake, sushi, worms (the most unique food), sweet corn, belacan rice, thai fried rice, satay and etc. At night, we were walking along the street side to buy some souvenirs.

The activities that we did after the floating market are almost the same, that is ‘shop..shop…. shop…!~ Hence, I don’t wish to further elaborate. A picture speaks more than thousand words~ Enjoy yourself^^ bye~

NB: the exchange rate for thai baht is 9.57 at the moment & the time in Thailand is 1 hour slower than in Malaysia

Trip to Sunway

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 88%

That was the 1st day after my exam. We headed to Sunway Lagoon at 1pm. There were two cars going to Sunway, totally 7 of us. Luckily the traffic was smooth and we managed to reach Sunway in 45 minutes time. Once we reach there, we immediately rushed into the theme park as the park will close at 6pm. The entrance fee is RM48 per person. It consists of Water Park and Amusement Park. If you wish to enter all the 5 parks, just pay RM70 only.

After we got inside and settle our belongings, we straight away headed to the outdoor swimming pool, which are having man-made auction. When you are swimming in that pool, you will feel that you are like swimming in the middle of the sea. It was a wonderful experience. After that, we went to have a try on the water slide. Personally, I like the water slide since it is not so scary like the other game.

Next, my friends went to ride the Pirates-ship. Since the bad experience from Genting last time, I promised myself not so step into the stupid pirates-ship anymore. Hence, I just waited for them outside. Luckily!!! The pirates-ship is worse than the one in Genting Highland! It even turns up to 360 degree! It is so scary. I am so thankful that I have not listen to them and try the game, or else somebody had to carry me out from the theme park later. Wuhoo~

Apart from that, we also went for a walk on the longest suspension bridge in Malaysia (~maybe). Walking on the bridge, it seems like you were walking on the air and it even nicer if you have a camera to snap photo over there. Next, we also try the roller coaster, rapid river ride, long flume, merry-go-round etc. Yippy, this time I have rode the lung flume for two times,~ a bit proud about myself. hehehee!~

Just when we planned to go back, we realized that there were some games in the water park that we had missed out and I think the game is indeed the most enjoyable game in the park. It was water slide again (I forgot the real name). You just get a ‘mat’ (similar to those yoga-mats) and climb upstairs to play the game. This one is different from the 1st water slide that I had mentioned just now. This game requires you to lie on the mat with your butt facing the sky and then slide down individually. It seems like you are flying in the sky like Superman!! WUHOO~ If you go into the water park without playing this game, you are assumed like never enter into the park! Yes, is true! Prove me that I’m wrong if you dare to say ‘Not Nice’ after you had played the game!!

It was almost the time. After we had a bath, we went to meet the rest of our friends who were shopping in Sunway Pyramid. We joined them for dinner in one of the shop selling Tepanyaki (again, I forgot the name..hehe) I ordered a dunno wat wat rice with dunno wat wat chicken, not bad~ After the dinner, we went shopping before going home. It was the whole day that we had spent.

Ok~ I stop now. Next post will be coming very soon~ ^^
