Just one day after I had reached Penang, I went to Hatyai again with my family. This time we went there by tour. Since the trip was ‘free and easy’, it only cost RM138 per person. It is very very~ worth since we were arranged to stay in a 4-star hotel and given a complimentary buffet breakfast!
It took us nearly 4 hours to reach the hotel (2 hours to reach the boundary Malaysia and another 1 & ½ hours to travel to Hatyai town. After we had placed our luggage in the hotel, we straight away went to shopping in nearby. Since our hotel is located right at the centre of the town, every shopping mall are within walking distance. This was the time I grabbed myself an adidas t-shirt for only 200 Baht. Haha… it is really cheap as the quality is almost 99% similar to those you see in the shopping complex.
Nearly 5pm in Malaysia time, we went to floating market by tut-tut (some sort like taxi but without air-cond). It costs 400B for two ways. Compared to the transport from hotel, we had saved half of the cost travel to floating market. Another plus point is that the tut-tut is equipped with a 19-inch Sumsung LCD TV and a PROTON-brand woofer. The sound is so loud that as we were in the centre of the road, everyone paid their attention on the vehicle!

We were given 1 hour in the floating market before he fetched us back to the hotel. There are so many food sold in the market such as pancake, sushi, worms (the most unique food), sweet corn, belacan rice, thai fried rice, satay and etc. At night, we were walking along the street side to buy some souvenirs.

The activities that we did after the floating market are almost the same, that is ‘shop..shop…. shop…!~ Hence, I don’t wish to further elaborate. A picture speaks more than thousand words~ Enjoy yourself^^ bye~
NB: the exchange rate for thai baht is 9.57 at the moment & the time in Thailand is 1 hour slower than in Malaysia
