One who gets No.25 is like a small boat going across a large river and being nearly wrecked by big storm. Your present like is like that small boat. You will reach the other side of the river safely, but it will take a long time. You may have to meet some difficulties, but in future you will be alright. If you want to emigrate it is very good for you to go south or to the east. Take care of yourself, you may get sickness. Your relative or friends will not be able to help or support you in any way. Your things or properties having been lost can hardly be found. In case of prosecution you have some hope to win the case but your luck in doing business is not very good.

The Road Not Taken

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 70%

Time passes very fast and I will get my diploma soon (if everything goes smoothly). It should be the time of great cheer. On the other hand, it is like a diverged road that needs me to make decision. What? Decision again? I know I am very indecisive most of the time and this time it will be a very critical decision. Where should I further my education? Institute of Higher Education U or K?

Two years ago, I was struggling for the same choices, exactly the same! Finally, I made my decision to pursue my diploma in K. Two years later, I face this problem again. It is hard for me to make a good decision. I struggle for quite a long time and it makes me nearly want to cry!
Both U & K looks equally good. The only difference is the fees. For U, it is totally free (if everything goes smoothly) until I graduate. For K, it is free for 2 years (if everything goes smoothly) but later I have to pay RM30k to go overseas. Now if you were me, what will you choose? If you are optimistic, maybe you will think, “It already costs me nearly RM10k for 7D6N trip to England, why don’t I pay more to stay there for 3 months?” If you are pessimistic, you will think on the other way, ie “Since I can study for free in local, why should I pay extra RM30k to get the (almost) same degree?”

I try to search for answer long time ago and I had consulted many friends and the lecturers as well, but most of them had given me same answer, ie “It depends on you”, “ Nothing different”, “Equally good”. OMG…

Maybe I should analyze case-by-case:

U: It is more comfortable to study in U, since nearly all of the students over there are Chinese and we share a common background. (0-1, U leads)

K: It is located in the city; you can find a lot of entertainment over there. (1-1, draw)

U: What? Entertainment? You thought the entertainment is free? (2-1, U leads)

U: The living cost is relatively low compared to K! (3-1, U leads)

K: The lecturer in K is more experienced and K is already there for many years, U is still new, everything new; hence, the future is still unknown. (3-2, U leads)

U: Ya, U is new. So, the building is new, the facility is new. The environment is good. (4-2, U leads)

K: Please don’t just talking about the environment. Except these, how about the sport facilities? Swimming pool? Gym? Football field? Badminton court? In K, definitely YES. (4-3, U leads)

K: You will have a chance to go overseas and not everyone will have a chance to do so. (4-4, draw)

U: It is free for you to study in U. In contrast, you have to pay RM30k to get a degree in K. (5-4, U leads)

K: In U, you have to stay one more year to study. (5-5, draw)

Piiiiiiiiiii~~…. Times up! The conclusion is…..NO Conclusion!

Now only I understand the poem that we studied 3 years ago. The situation that I face right now is exactly the same as described in the poem,

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
……

One-day Cruise

Weather: Rainy

Level of Happiness: 80%

Yesterday, I went on the cruise with my family. This is the 2nd time that I went there. Everything is almost the same, unless this time…haha… I can walk freely into the casino! I already wished to get into there for ages, not for gambling, but just want to have a look on it. The casino is different from those on Genting Highland, especially the minimal age limit for the cruise is only 18 years old. Thanks to this, I have a chance to visit there.

I still remember that last time I was blocked by a Malay policewoman when I attempt to walk into the casino situated on Genting Highland. Finally, all of my relatives went into it and left me alone at the shopping mall for more than 3 hours!! I was walking alone over there, without doing anything…and I just loafing around at the shopping mall, looking into the outdoor theme-park, looking at the kids who were playing the games in the indoor theme-park and so on. I never have a chance to walk into that casino, even until now.

The environment inside the casino is almost like those that have been shown on the TV. All you can see are many security guards walking around, extremely many CCTVs hanging there to closely monitor all of your single actions. You can see that the casino is divided into different sections which each section provides different games, such as Big-Small~, Blackjack etc. For certain games, I saw many uncles busying taking pen to do some calculations, probably estimating the probability for them to win. Wow…maybe next time I should bring along my Casio fx-570MS Calculator there to calculate together with them as well. Haha…

Finally, I have a chance to play some games. I was given some chips to test for my luck. There are some words written on the table which stated “Minimum bet 10”. Oh no….I was thinking, “Brother, 50 cents per game boleh kar?” haha…how stupid was I. After some time playing (or maybe just looking), I went to the bar to enjoy some food and drinks. Yeah!...It is the only things that you can get it for free inside the casino.

After that, we went up to 3rd-floor of the cruise, the karaoke section. We are lucky yesterday, being able to watch the wonderful performance from Wan Ying little sister, 13years, the world champion of the singing competition! After that, there were some bingo games to be played. I spent RM10 to buy a Bingo ticket to seek for a chance to win. Unfortunately, the money just disappear like a puff of smoke…fiuuuu~ Shit!! All the numbers announced cannot be found on my ticket and I was taking so long time to wait for my lucky number to be called. When all the unties-uncles’ tickets almost finish circled, my ticket still blank here and there. No luck!!!!! Haiz…~

From the 1st time experience inside the casino, I can confidently say that you hardly win in the casino. The probability of winning will never reach 50:50 or even higher!! So, for those who intend to earn some money by trying your luck over there, please reconsider again. Besides, the environment over there is totally uncomfortable for us, the non-smokers. They can just sit inside the air-conditioned environment to smoke, without realizing that they are actually going against the law. Oh ya….when the ship is moving to a certain distance from the port, it is actually no longer under the law of Malaysia. No wonder they still can do whatever inconsiderate actions that they like, without considering the feeling of others.

Anyway, I still find some funny things inside the casino, that is, a lot of pantang-larang over there. Haha… Eg, when you left the sit and someone wishes to occupy your place, he usually will rotate the chair for a few times before he sit down. Haha…i don’t why he did so… Besides, there was an incident that really made me laugh. I saw an uncle was playing banker-player. Before he wanted to look at the numbers of the cards, he purposely took out his sun-glass from his pocket and wore it. According to that ‘professional’, this will make the number more ‘beautiful’. When I saw he finally still lost all the money after doing all the funny funny actions, I really wanted to laugh at him. Hahahahahaha~

It was really a wonderful experience into a casino. Perhaps you should visit there if you have given a chance. Maybe you can just walk in to look around and also enjoy the food for free! Wuhoo~

Okie~ I think I should stop now. Erm… As requested by someone, I posted many pictures here this time. Haha^^ Goodbye~~

What's A Day

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 60% (13 March)

Yesterday, I went for a swim again after class. At 4.30pm, the weather was still very hot. However, I cannot just sit there to wait until sunset. So, I had no choice, but have to jump into the pool and swim continuously. Around 5pm, suddenly came a lot of students and the pool suddenly seemed to be very crowded. I was wondering where were those chimpanzee came from. I think yesterday is the most students I have ever seen in the pool at my college!

The pool was so crowded until accidents might happen. I was swimming to the right and one of my friends was swimming from the right. Without knowing the existence of each other, we still swam very fast until we hit each other. Luckily no one has injured. Perhaps, next time they should employ police traffic to take care of the swimmers in the pool. Hahaha…

At 5.45pm, the weather still remained very hot and I had to leave, to prevent sunburn and traffic jam as well. In fact, it has no space for you to swim also.~ However, things did not go as smooth as I thought. I thought I am so clever to leave early in order to reach home early, but I still stuck in the traffic jam for more than one hour!!! @#%#@&$@#*@!!

At night, I was not feeling well, probably due to allergy. I went to clinic and the doctor asked me what had I eaten in these few days and I was not able to answer, because I had actually eaten quite a lot of delicious food! I think maybe is the seafood in Sushi King that caused to so sick.
After taking the medicine, I felt drowsy and went to sleep quite early. zzzzZZZZ…… ~.~

Awakening

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 78%

7-1=6…oh..haha..still have 6 weeks to go, don’t worry! I’m still not getting into the mood of study yet. Enjoying my holiday-life every day, I never bother about my assignments & tutorial questions yet because I think that I should have enough time to study later…. until I received a call from my friend just now. My friend asked me about the math questions and luckily I am still able to answer him based on my understanding (I have not done my revision yet!..oh no). Looks like all my friends already started their homework and only left me still ‘blur-blur-ing’ around, like sleeping-beauty. OMG. Hey… CY, it’s time to wake up!!!

Later, I had my dinner at Coffee Island, gurney drive. I ordered a set of Chicken Cordon Bleu and a cup of Iced Peppermint Paddy Mocha Latte. While waiting for the order to be served, I took my time to surf the internet by using the computer provided there. Wow…I found a lot of software being installed in the computer, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop etc. There may be either one of the cases below: 1st, the boss must be very rich, being able to purchase so many licensed-software to let the customers use. 2nd, those software are not genuine (pirated version). Hahaha… It is so silly to mention about this right?

Ting tong…oh…yeah…that was my Chicken Cordon Bleu. Yummy… In my opinion, enjoying the delicious food at such a wonderful environment is considered as one of the most enjoyable activities.

After my dinner, I tried to do some revision …ya..ya… Try only! Hehe… Just a few seconds of study, I felt uneasy. I had come across these statements:

A Registered Engineer shall not falsify his qualifications or permit misrepresentation of his or his associates’ qualifications. He shall not misrepresent or exaggerate his responsibility in or for the subject matter of prior assignments. Brochures or other presentations incident to the solicitation of employment shall not misrepresent pertinent facts concerning employers, employees, associates, joint ventures’ or past accomplishments.

Hey, boss! Apa ni, baca pun tak faham macam mana pi memorize pulak! Before that, I thought that engineers must only be polite, responsible, friendly, honest…etc… but now, all code code code…. Section 1, section II, Section III…..alehluya… bla~bla~bla~ OMG….

Ok..ok..I know ..I know. This is time for me to wake up. It is the situation just like the Snow White is finally waked up after she is kissed by the prince but something different is that this situation is not the happy ending like the tale. It is just the beginning.

I think I have written a lot of things today,, maybe the coffee is too powerful and make me so awake now…haha~ Anyway, I still have to stop now. Bye bye~

3 Wishes?

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 78%

Have you ever think that if one day, you accidentally meet a person (anything…Aladdin magic lamp, perhaps) who is able to fulfill your 3 wishes, what demands will you expect from him?

1st, I want to become a millionaire!”, “2nd, I want to travel to anywhere as I like! Go Disneyland in Tokyo, enjoy the hot spring in Taiwan etc”, “3rd, I want to be the most popular person in the world, even better than Barack Obama now!” ????? Are these your wishes? Yes? Oh no…please don’t be so greedy…haha..

For me, I will just demand for one thing. “Could you please realize all of my infinity wishes?” Hoho…. Maybe this is the best wishes if compared to others.

Ok!! Enough!! Wake up now!!!

I better stop to dream now. Anyway, I still have a lot of simple wishes. Hehe…hope they will come true soon^^

1.0 Clothes
I have stopped to ‘import’ any new clothes to my wardrobe since the CNY. After resting for one month, I think it is the time for me to do something….haha~ Maybe I should look for a set of formal wear….

2.0 Entertainment
Talking about entertainment, I always have a lot of places in my mind. Hey..hey… have you ever hear that “Rest is to prepare oneself for longer journey?” haha… For entertainment, I think the best place is undoubtedly Genting Highland (GH) Outdoor Theme Park. I think my last visit was 5 or 6 years ago. Although I went to GH two years ago, since all my relatives went into the casino and I had to stay alone inside the shopping mall for nearly 3 hours. Oh no….looking through the window, I hoped that I can really jump into the theme park at the moment!! Do you understand the feeling of the situation if you can look at the roller coaster but cannot go for it? I miss the pirate’s ship, cable car, haunted house, merry-go-round… but definitely not the thrilling roller coaster!!! hahahaha~

Besides, I plan to visit Jusco @ Kinta City and Ipoh parade. I’m still waiting for the permissions of my friends in UTAR, Kampar. They will be served as my tour guides for me in Ipoh. Thanks a lot…Next time treat you all a Roti Canai…haha…Erm….i better skip this topic as I still have a lot of places in KL to visit and I afraid my time is running out … hehe :-P

3.0 Food
Wohoo….this is my favorite topic… I can say that eating is my favorite hobby!! Although Penang is named as The Heaven of Food but I still can’t name any local food that I like the most, maybe they are too common for me. These are the food that I miss very much now.

- Waffle @ A&W
- Maggie Goreng @ Kayu Nasi Kandar
- Tempura Prawns @ Sushi King (of course during promotion period!!! So expensive!)
- Char Siew Wan Than Mee @ Bukit Bintang, KL
- Roti Special @ Murni, PJ
- Japanese Buffet @ Shogun Restaurant, 1-Utama (since many people recommend, I think I should try ^^)
- All-You-Can-Eat-Dinner @ Tao, Auto-city (Crabmeat with cheese, Korokke…nice!)
- ……

Oh no…really too much…too much...until I feel hungry…I think that I should have my supper right now…..hahaha~ bye~
