The 60D with my Nice B'day and X'mas Celebration

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 80%

I’m sorry that I promised to make another update in the last post as I have been busy throughout the time. Please don’t feel that I was so enjoyable in the past as I have posted so many photos in fb. That was a kind of relaxing activities after a boring weekend and I must say that I can’t stay in the house for two days in the weekend even how busy was me.

Talking about camera, it is almost 20 days since I bought my 60D with only a normal lens. However, throughout the experience in photo shooting, I proud to say that I did not make a wrong choice!! I don’t see any need to buy a lens that enables me to zoom far away. Perhaps my skill is not to that level yet :P

I felt contented for having so much of nice photos during my b’day celebration with all my relatives and all my dear friends. I was hesitating in the past whether not to spend such a big amount of money to invest for a good camera as I can have both normal digital camera and new smart phone at the same time. However, personally, I think that nothing is more important than your ability to capture every past wonderful experience in your life. Perhaps after 20 years, when you are able to retrieve all the nice memories from your photos while others can’t, RM3.4k of investment is nothing at all! Nothing is more important than memories! Remember that. ;-)

Yesterday was Christmas Eve and I’m sure that my friends and I were having a great moment in Genting Highland. After attending years of celebration, at gurney, bukit bintang etc, celebrating a x’mas celebration at the highland will be definitely a different experience, especially in such a cool place where you won’t squeeze like sardine and sweat like hell.

The study life in TARC College is going to end soon and I have to make use of this opportunity to capture every moments of life with my 60D (I’m so happy with her ;P). Before I end, merry x’mas to all of you and have a nice day^^

Speak!

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 73%

9 Nov was the public speaking competition organised by TARC with the collaboration of CIMB bank and I was lucky to be one of the contestants there. When I was heading to DKE, i saw many of the banners hanging around and I knew that the public speaking was not merely a competition, but exhibiting the image of TAR College to the outsiders. Many of the VIPs were there, including the CIMB representative, Head from Ericon language center, Head of School, Head of Division and other VIPs from the college that I haven’t seen before.

When i first stepped into the hall, i saw some of contestants there wearing extremely formal, with a coat and tie. It caused me to feel even more nervous at the moment. Anyway, i kept reminding myself not to be scared by their exteriority.

The public speaking competition took around one hour. Unfortunately, I only managed to get the first runner-up. Thus, the purchase of my DSLR has to be postponed!!! Anyway I’ll appreciate this opportunity given to me and I felt so contented that I had made a right decision. (Actually I didn’t participate at the beginning as I skipped the classes for two times and I was totally unaware about the competition. Thanks to Yee Lin for informing me^^ I decided to contact my tutor in the last minute to participate~)

That’s all for today and the next post will be very soon~

The Torturing Week

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 78%

I m glad that the most suffering week is finally over. I remember that I don’t even have time to enjoy throughout the whole week as I need to prepare for the test, some tasks assigned by my supervisors, public speaking, assignments, tutorials and revision. I told myself that this semester will be completely different from previous semester that there is no ‘play-play’ for this final semester.

Talk about public speaking, I’m still don’t know the main reasons that forced me to volunteer to participate in such event. This is definitely not my style! Perhaps I want to take the challenge to test my communication skills under strict supervision by all the language experts from the well-known language center. In my deep heart, I actually prefer the presentation in the non-technical subjects but unfortunately, there is no other language subjects in our Adv Dip.

Yesterday, I went to 1-U again with my housemates to ‘import’ some new clothes. To my surprise, he bought a fcuk polo-T which cost >RM100. That will be something uncommon on him that I would like to mention. Moreover, all the shirts bought by him are in white-color!! All of us went back with harvest and I have spent nearly RM100 in one day.

Suddenly I have one place that I’m thinking to go, that is Petro Science located at KLCC that I haven’t been there before. I think it will be a good experience to pay a visit there. Let’s plan for it.

It’s time to go for jogging now and I’ll stop here. Bye~

My ‘H0liday’

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 78%

Yeah~finally I have the mood to continue to this post here. Just after the exam, we headed to Tao located at Sunway Giza, Damansara for our dinner and also celebrating for our holiday. Basically, the dishes are almost same with the one in Autocity, but one thing different is that there are another corner for tepanyaki and sashimi. As usual, I ordered my favourite dishes, tempura sets, ‘biskut kola’ (direct translation from mandarin…swt), scallops and cheese crab-sticks.

To my surprise, I met C.maine n Noel during the Tao dinner. Yes…I’m really surprise. I still remember on that day 11am, I looked at my watch and suddenly thought that they are finishing their exam and should be going out to celebrate at the moment. It was like a dream~

Yeah~(photo of the year)..*like*^^

My favourite~ *like*

On Friday, Choon poh’s family were coming to KL and I took that opportunity to travel with them. We went to a lot of places, such as KLCC, Batu Caves, Kepong, Taman Layang-layang and Petaling Street. My photography skill was seriously brushed up during the trip as I was the main photographer during the trip. Yeah~Thanks to Poh~
Before going out, we snapped a ‘family’ photo & I like this photo too^^.

Quite short for this time as I’m quite sleepy now..C ya~

The Complicated Feeling

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 70%

It’s is over…yes..it’s finally over. Two weeks of torture and suffer finally came to the end. During the exam, my life was like hell! Early in the morning have to go to library to study until night, back to home have to continue to do revision till midnight, and the worst is….. when I was having my meal, I would still thinking of the exam, feeling nervous the whole day… The feeling is hardly expressed in words, unless you have really experienced before.

Talking about the exam, the subject that I worry the most is Control System Engineering1, that I can’t find any question that can promise me more than 20 marks, every easy question was paired with a hard question and causing me to choose the WRONG question!!! After I came out from the exam hall then only I regret that I didn’t choose the question properly. That was the biggest and the most stupid MISTAKE that I made in this exam.

Ok..let’s forget about the bad thing. It’s all over and no point to cried over spoilt milk. The happiest moment during the past two weeks was the moment that I handed up the last paper on Saturday. It was the real day of celebrating Merdeka for us compared to 31-August.

Few days after the exam, it seems like most of my friends are going back to hometown. For me, I have to postpone my holiday as I have to work full-time on my FYP. I should feel relax and happy after the exam, but suddenly I feel so lonely here and I hate this feeling!!! I wish that I can progress faster and able to go back Penang soon. I really miss everything in hometown!!!! Gambate Yong!

Shogun

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 84%

Yesterday, all my housemates and I went to 1-U to have our dinner at the Japanese restaurant, Shogun. We planned this few days ago, but unexpectedly, we are still able to achieve the planned (usually it won’t success XD….). At 3pm yesterday, I started to rush back from the library so that we will be having some time for shopping at 1-U before the Mega-sale ends. We reached there about 4.45pm and we still have some time to go search for my ‘target’… fcuk t-shirt.

When we approached the shop, we were so happy that we saw a big ‘SALE’ banner pasted on the wall. It is even written there 30%....40%.... Without hesitating, we straight away went into the shop to look for my plain-black-colored t-shirt with the word ‘fcuk’ in front. However, I was told that the t-shirt is new-arrival and it is sold at the normal price RM109. Oh no…. no choice but I have to put it aside as buying a t-shirt for more than hundred ringgit is definitely not worth. Next, we went to another shop, Zara. My friend bought a t-shirt from there for only RM30. It is really cheap!

At 6.15pm we headed to Shogun restaurant. After waiting for few years (yup, I have been thinking of going there when I first went to 1-U), finally I have a chance to step into that restaurant and this made me having such a high expectation on the food. All of us were stunned when we saw the great variety of food placed so nicely on the table for us to grab. ‘wei…wei…..so nice la’…’paying only 60 for the buffet is so worth!!’ …. ‘they are even better than E&O’ … we are looking forward to try the food ….The food is ranging from the Japanese style sushi, sashimi & tepanyaki, Thai-style tomyam & spicy-stemed fish to some of the Western style food such as stick & Chinese dim sum. Haha.. this is only the beginning of the story!!

When we tasted all the food it the 1st round, it was really delicious (perhaps we were so hungry at the moment…) Suddenly, one of my friend saw a dead-cockroach on the squid taken. We were shocked and we have lost all of our appetite. I asked to guy wearing formal-shirt to our table and show him the ‘interesting’ thing. To my disappointment, what the response from him was ‘oh..cockroach? oo…okok’ Then he took the plate away without making any explanation to us. Perhaps all of us haven’t encountered such situation before and don’t even know how to make noise and grab everyone’s attention. Hmm…ok.. we learnt a lesson!!!

Then we continue for the 2nd round and so on. The only food that I like the most is that tempura-prawns that I’ll queue up for an hour just for that food during the sushi-king RM2 promotion. For the dessert, it is really not much different from normal buffet that I can’t even find a cheese-cake from there. The ice-cream? Haiz….i think it is not much different from the Nestle ice-cream sold in Tesco…

Overall the ratings (out of 10 points) of Shogun are as below:
Environment: 7.5
Variety of Food: 9
Quality of Food: 6
Service: 5
Cleanliness: 5
Price: 7
**** Overall (as voted from all of us) : 6.5

So, I say さようなら (sayounara) to Shogun. That’s all for today. Bye~

2nd Attempt to Broga Hill

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 85%

That was my 2nd attempt to Broga Hill. We start our journey at 3.40am and reach the foot of Broga hill at around 4.30am. We start the hiking after taking some photos there. Compared to the first time, there were fewer people over there. There are three ‘check-points’ on the way to the summit of Broga Hill. We will definitely spend some time to snap some photos whenever we reach a ‘check-point’ as there is a ‘professional’ photographer together with us. It took us 45 minutes to reach the summit.

This is the 1st time that all of us reach the summit of the mountain!!! Even some of the experienced one hasn’t been to there before and we really felt proud of it. The only thing that we are not satisfied is we were unable to see the sunrise, probably due to the cloudy sky. However, I’m quite happy with that since out skin won’t turn darker as a result of the exposure to the intense sunlight. Haha…
The toughest part of hiking is not other than going down from the mountain as the land is quite slippery. After the hiking, we visited to the nearest temple and snapped some photos there.

After taking out lunch there, we continue to our last destination of that day – Klang. Since all of us heard that the Bak Kut Teh over there is the best in Malaysia, we decided to give it a try. To my disappointment, I personally don’t felt any special on the food, probably some of the food already sold out at that time.
We went back after the Bak Kut Teh. One thing interesting is that we totally passed through totally 12 tolls in this trip, thanks to GPS. Haha…

That’s all for today. Bye~

World Cup Fever

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 76%

It was so long time since my last post. As time passes so fast, it is now week 8 of the semester. It is also the end of FIFA World Cup. Without realizing, I have been following the world cup matches for almost one month. I will never miss any matches of Germany. I even awake until 5am morning just to watch the match. It is the semi-final now and the 1st match of semi-final is going to start later. I’m sure that everyone is also prepared on where to watch the game.

However, it seems like there are a lot of obstacles for me to watch for these few matches left. Thu morning Germany vs Spain….a few hours later, I have to meet my project supervisor to present my work….and the worst is ….I have not done any preparation yet!!! That is not the end yet…Monday morning, FINAL…. Holland vs Germany (hopefully)…a few hours later…Communication System Engineering Test!!! I am wondering whether the lecturer is purposely put the test at the same day as the World Cup Final which everyone in the whole world is watching. It seems like he wants us to sacrifice on…. Erm… the TEST!! Ya…I’m sure that those people who like football will not give out that opportunity which only comes every 4 years.

That’s all for today. Here, I wish GER will go on to create a new record and strike for the champion. Bye~

A New Start

Weather: Rainy
Level of Happiness: 78%

It will be the 3rd week of semester now. Throughout the days in KL, I have spent a lot of money probably due to the new mindset. I still remember when my housemates and I first come to KL, we tried to save as much as we can, try to eat instant noodles instead of eating outside, try not to hang out so often etc. However, I’m not going to practise this concept again as someone has highlighted to me “Spend as much as u can as 2012 is approaching!” Yuhoo~

Last week, I went to Lau Yat Redbox to sing-k (Probably shout-k~). My main intention over there is to try out the buffet dinner. The buffet is not so bad overall, at least better than Greenbox. Erm, hot about the price? I would say that the price that informed by them is almost similar to the share-market, keep fluctuating. One thing different is that the trend share-market is up and down, but the price calculated by them until the total amount that we have to pay is keep increasing. Finally costing us around RM30 per person.

The next day after the Redbox, we went to Midvalley. That was the 1st time I went Midvalley with my friends by KTM. I have watched the local-made movie, Ice Kacang… To my surprise, the seats inside were almost fully-occupied although the movie is available for more than 2 months. Maybe it was due to the actors and actress that we like them so much~~

Wednesday, we went to the pasar malam located at Cheras. That was the 2nd time I drive there. I bought a lot of things over there, which include crispy roll $3, pancake青龙五谷 $1.50, China’s style burger $1.50 (shared), siew-mai $4, 食神-酱爆丸$1(shared), sugar-cane drink x2 $2.40 total and the last one …. bun-shape key-chain that I was searching for more than 4 months $5.

Basically that was my main entertainment during the two weeks in KL. I think it is enough for today’s post and I have to go back to KL tomorrow. Bye~

A Beautiful Full Stop

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 69%

Saturday~ Yesterday was my last day training in the company. Since I stepped into the company, there was always a kind of unusual feeling, since I have spent most of my time in the company during the 4 months. During lunch time, another trainee and I were brought to the restaurant nearby to have a buffet lunch. There were 8 of us over there.

At night, after I came back from haircut, I went to Queensbay Hammer Bay to meet my supervisor for dinner. We were watching Thomas Cup over there and saw how Malaysia’s team terribly lost. I went back after the dinner and that was 10pm. It was the moment I put a beautiful full-stop on my industrial training. I’ll not forget the nice and meaningful experience during the training.

Some of the interesting/unforgettable incident that happened during the training:
~ATV machine down and cause the hydrogen leaking, at the same time, triggering emergency alarm. Everyone rushed out from the production area. (H2 is explosive!)
~The products exploded during the heating process. The operator, Fiko, cried after that as she is the one who in charge of the heating. Around RM6000 were lost because of that.
~Emergency alarm triggered as the water pipe leaking. The office near to the entrance was full of water.
~Sakinah cried after being scolded by the engineer.
~Operators, Ambiga and Fang treated me during tea-time.
~Technician, Deva, treated me for lunch & tea-time.
~Fiko requested me to give her my pen to keep as memory during my last day. She took my pen and didn’t want to return to me…haha…

That’s all for the working experience. With this, I officially end this topic here. Bye~

It's OVER

Weather: Rainy

Level of Happiness: 80%

Today is super busy day for me. My alarm rang at 5.45am. After struggling for 15 minutes, I finally manage to get up and continue my report. After double checked, I started printing my report. Pg1-10….. Pg11-20…. Pg21-30….. Done! It’s the time for me to go shower and have my breakfast! As it was already 7.30pm, I was rushing to do all the things and go to work. However, after thinking that most of them were going to meeting in the morning today, I began to relax a bit. By the time I reached the company, it was already 15 minutes late. Oops….bad record again!

During lunch time, as usual, I was going with my best friend in the company, Deva. He said that he will help me to pay. I was so touched! Later during tea time, when I was picking the food, he approached me and warned me not to pay for the food. That time I just said a sincere Thank You to him and I have nothing to say at the moment.

Last week, another operator, Ambiga, also treated me some ‘kuih’… although it does not cost much, I’ll always remember her. She is the one who 1st scolding on me when I came to this company. I have been scolded by her many times as I always ‘curi’ her pen and did not return to her….hehe.. When thinking of the 3 months being together until she treated me 180 degree different now, my eyes will really filled with tears.

Another operator that I wish to thank is Fang, an operator from another shift. I’ll always remember the nice watermelon juice that she bought for me.

Today, all of us are in big trouble now as the engineers were doing something not according to the procedure. The worst thing is that…. The process is under me! Oh no… I really speechless…. Suddenly feel like the mountain of jobs is suppressing me. However, since tomorrow is my last day, I will only try my best to train the technician over there before I leave.

After work, I rushed to print out another part of my report as I do not have color ink in my printer. After that, I was staying at home to finish up my report until I skipped my dinner. After double and triple checked, I rush to Young Ones behind my house to bind my report. It was the time that I really release my burden.

Haven’t end yet. Again…I rush to Queensbay with my sister to buy a new bag. Hoho…I like my new bag so much…

Okie..it’s time to pack my stuffs…Nitez…..

Home Alone

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 82%

Monday 09 May- Yesterday, as my family is going to Genting Highland for vacation, left me alone to become a security guard at home… After having dim sum with my parents, I stayed at home the whole morning to finish up my report. Suppose that the report can be done early, but I am really lazy to do that. Haiz…..it is totally NOT my style!!! I will not finish my task at last minute….looks like the 3 months training had make me become lazier….

I planned to ask someone to go for a movie, but all of them seem like fully booked~ so, I have to search for an alternative. Staying at home to finish up my Taiwanese drama (Hi My Sweetheart)? Nono! Finally, I came out an idea…that is…..go shopping…yEaH~~~

I really have plenty of things to buy….First, I went to PDI Concept Store to look for some shirts and pants… I was so lucky to meet my friend there and thus I got a 40% discount on the normal price item…wuhoo~~ I have saved RM40 on that purchase. However, I still not satisfied on what I have bought, probably I will be back to grab more shirts before I went back to KL….ngiek…ngiek….

After that, I continued to explore into other shop. I bought a T-shirt from SODA and I really really like that shirt^^ in Queensbay around 1 hour, I have spent Rm124.30…If I’m not going for football afterwards, the amount will be even higher….wakakakka..~

Okie..that’s all for today. Bye~

Lord of The Ring, Harry Potter 1,2&3, Transformers 1&2, Pirates of the Caribbean 1&2 : 0% (统统都没看!),初恋红豆冰: ??% (还没看!),Avatar: 83%,2012: 84%,Iron Man: 86%, Ip Man: 87% ……

Night Story

Weather: Rainny

Level of Happiness: 65%

It’s time for story-telling! The story background is still around my workplace. Yesterday, I was told that I had made some mistakes on the weekly report that I had prepared. Initially, I’m suspicious with that as I have checked the reports several times before I went home on Wednesday. Once I open up the PowerPoint Slides…Oohh..sHiT! I have made some mistakes on the title of those slides. Luckily the manager was not there during the meeting, or else I’m sure will get some ‘discount’ on my reputation! Aiks…. The engineer also did not scold on me….thanks god…just 酸 me a few sentences…haha

During my break time, I was having lunch together with my sifu’s, those who taught me a lot of things during my training, including the technician, the engineers from China, the customer from China and another engineer, CC, from other department. CC was talking his experience in Japan. I was so fascinated to that topic and I kept asking him about the living in Japan. According to him, most of the Japanese hardly speak English and some of them even can’t speak English! When answering my questions on whether he understand Japanese, he replied, “ Don’t worry, just using body language…sumimasen Kore one….kore…kore….how much?”, finally the Japanese still managed to catch the meaning, but I was really LOL on his actions…..haha..

Today…the climax…many big big heads are coming into my department, including all those white guys from Germany and also some customers. Just after lunch, all of us were called for a big meeting. Hey, that was the 1st time I joined them for meeting as usually the small little bird like me would not have a chance to go for a meeting with those big head! Something has gone wrong! According to that big head, TCS Manager, due to the improper management in the production, he was scolded angrily by the customers. Customers complained that we did not follow the procedures well. During the briefing, he offered RM5 for the operator who can answer his question, “What the VFIS stands for and what is the purpose of that?”….waiting…waiting…but no one managed to answer.

Since this problem already alerted our GM, the Quality-Control people also started sibuk-sibuk in our area. After the manager kap..kap…kappp with them, they started to implement the strict checking on everything, including our gowning. This one cannot, that one not allowed, that one is prohibited… oh no..suddenly like hundreds of rules need to be followed. Swt! I oso kena shoot by the Supervisor as I did not button up my suit properly. Just after few minutes, I saw he was also repeating the same mistake as me! My face really turned red at the moment and I almost want to argue with him!

After an hour later, another meeting! This time is engineering meeting. Same thing, all also kena ‘brushed’ by the engineering manager. I try to hide at the back but not successful as…..i’m so tall!! Now only I realized another disadvantage of being so tall~ haiz….

Ending part, since today is Friday, I planned to go back at 5.30pm sharp. Just when I went out from the cleanroom, I saw many people were busy in moving the tables, maybe they have to relocated everything. I was spotted by the engineering manager….”Hey, Yong, are you going back now?”….”Yaya”…” oo..ok…then nevermind la, I’ll ask the technician to help me move the thing”. Based on my past experiences, if I answer “nono…I’m free now” I think I’ll doing the cheap-labor job dunno until wat time~….clever Yong…wuhoo~~~

Okie~ it’s time to stop and sleep~…Nitezzzzz….

PC Fair- April 2010

Weather: Rainny

Level of Happiness: 73%

Yo~ one week after the previous post~ Here I update my recent activities. I have taken an opportunity to work in the past PC Fair @ PISA. At 1st I still doubtful in looking for a job in PC Fair as I already tired with the life of working. However, after much consideration, I think I should not miss out this chance of working in PC Fair as I might not have any chance to work there in future.

That was the 2nd time for me working in PC Fair and also 2nd time for me to promote GPS. For the 1st day, everything seems very unnatural for me as I was not so familiar with different brand of GPS. Sometimes even ‘Erm….’, ‘Arr….’ in answering the customer questions. Generally the 1st day is just giving out the flyers to the visitors. Some of the visitors are so arrogant that they even didn’t pay any attention to me when I was giving out the flyers. I thought we have a slogan ‘Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita’? Looks like some of them even not practicing the courtesy in their daily life!

At night, I received a call from my supervisor of my industrial training to go for the dinner after my work. We went to the Malay stall located near to Queensbay Mall. That was my first time to visit there as I never realized such a nice location around Queensbay before. It is just located beside the sea and you will definitely feel cool and comfortable when the wind blows. We have ordered a Ikan Jenahak, Sotong Goreng, Sayur, Telur, Ayam and a jar of orange juice. I’m glad that three of us were able to finish all the food ordered.

The 2nd day of PC Fair. I only work for half-day since I have to attend my grandma’s birthday celebration and that is much more important that working in PC Fair. I also bought a 320 GB WD Hard Disk that cost RM179.

The climax of PC Fair. That was the last day of the fair and ever salesperson is expecting higher sales that the previous day. Around 10 am and just that we were ready to promote our products, some unexpected thing occurred. One customer approached our stall and complaining that the product that she bought from us exploded! She informed us that the AC adapter is exploded during the charging. Oh no…. It seemed like pouring a bowl of cold water to us just when we were ready to begin our business. The unlucky incident usually does not come alone and it is true. The other promoter accidently broke the GPS when she was handling the device. Luckily our big boss did not request her to pay or else she will be getting a negative amount of salary throughout the three days. Phew~… However, things went on smoothly afterwards and I went back at 10pm after work.

These are some of the interesting incidents during that 3-day working. I have to stop here. Bye~

Bad Experiences

Level of Happiness: 75%

Weather: Rainy

The past week was the most troublesome week for me in the factory. I have made a BiG mistake few days ago. On the past Thursday, I went to work with a very relaxed mood. I walked slowly into the office to put my belongings and went down to the production area. Inside there, I continued with those tasks that were assigned to me as all the engineers had gone to the meeting. Doing until halfway, my friend approached me and said, “Yeah, tomorrow holiday!” I laughed at him and said,”hey, now only Wednesday la, so fast think about holiday!” Then, he shouted at me and corrected me that it was already Thursday! Oops….’TODAY IS THURSDAY!!!!’ It means…

…I forgot to prepare the report for the engineer who is going to present in the meeting at the moment. I was so nervous at the moment and rush to the pc and attempt to prepare it. However, the pc was hanged at the moment! It was terrible! I became more nervous at the moment. After 20 minutes of troubleshooting, it was found that the network cable was loose. After the cable was connected, I prepared the report immediately and hope that she has not presented yet…

…After the report completed in 5 minutes time, something have gone through my mind. “If she knew that I forgot to prepare the report, why didn’t she complete it before the meeting? Why doesn’t she inform me when I met her early in the morning?...However, I still don’t know about the answer as I not dare to ask her about this and she also didn’t mentioned to me about this. Everything looks like normal. So, I assumed that this case is CLOSED….phewww….

…In the afternoon, my supervisor asked me that how should I submit the training report. Oh no….i never thinking of writing a report for the industrial training. It means, from now on, I have one more homework to do after work.

The next day, I went to the interview for a job in pc fair during my 1-hour lunch time. However, I was late more than 30 minutes back to the factory. Frankly speaking, I not so interested on that job as the pay is low.

Yesterday was Cheng Beng. I also not forgot to test my luck in the Siamese temple. Unexpectedly, I got no1. What is the Chiam talking about? I am lazy to write it down but I had snapped the picture and put it here. It looks very good and I hope it can be realized this year. Thanks God~

Okie~ I have written so much. It’s time to Facebook again…C ya~

Bored

Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 59%
Phew… without realizing much, it is already one month since I was back from KL. I can describe my life over here with five words, “十年如一日!” Oh ya… I haven’t talk about my working experience before. Since I need not write any training report to college, I rather post it on my blog.

One question that you will surely ask me, “What product actually you are working with?” Well… I’m dealing with Butterfly Package every day. Don’t ask me about the name, maybe the package looks like a butterfly with 40 pins beside it. Actually I’m having all the related documents that I copied from the company, but I dare not show it out to public or else later a lot of troubles will be arisen. Moreover, my pen-drive is full of viruses due to the stupid PC in the company!

The engineers have asked me this question, “Yong, why are you alone here? How about your friends?” According to them, last time the trainee came in by whole class, more than 15 trainees together, but now only I myself alone here. Haiz~ I have no choice since many of my friends prefer doing part-time job outside rather than doing the boring job in the factory.

Luckily I met an Indian technician that is new hired. Now, at least I’m not so lonely over there. I have learnt a lot from him. He told me how he attended the interview in this company. Oh no….the questions seem like so easy that I have learnt before but I just cannot answer since I already forgotten all the theories… =.=’ Last Thursday, I saw them changing the UV-light bulb in the machine. The technician told me this, “Yong, see this. Although this light bulb looks beautiful as it looks like crystal, so shinny~ it is poisonous! Next time no matter where you are going, remember this general theoryà Beautiful things are dangerous!” How true is that statement?

Working days seem like so meaningless to me as I only left few hours for myself. Although my official working hours is until 5:30pm, the moment that I reach home already 6++ or even 7, sometimes I plan to go jogging after works, but usually fail. Haha…this time I must change my plan. I’ll straight away go to the gym in the company after work! I must fully utilize the facility over there before I leave~ yeah~

Someone has told me this, “The money that you spent is only considered as your own money.” I feel sad that I seldom have any chance to spend my hard-earned money since I seldom go out for shopping. Most of my friends already went to elsewhere, study and study…. Only left me alone doing my training in my hometown. Who can understand my feeling right now? T_T”

Trip to Hatyai

Weather: Sunny

Level of Happiness: 87%

Just one day after I had reached Penang, I went to Hatyai again with my family. This time we went there by tour. Since the trip was ‘free and easy’, it only cost RM138 per person. It is very very~ worth since we were arranged to stay in a 4-star hotel and given a complimentary buffet breakfast!

>Buffet breakfast

> Thai's boundary

It took us nearly 4 hours to reach the hotel (2 hours to reach the boundary Malaysia and another 1 & ½ hours to travel to Hatyai town. After we had placed our luggage in the hotel, we straight away went to shopping in nearby. Since our hotel is located right at the centre of the town, every shopping mall are within walking distance. This was the time I grabbed myself an adidas t-shirt for only 200 Baht. Haha… it is really cheap as the quality is almost 99% similar to those you see in the shopping complex.

Nearly 5pm in Malaysia time, we went to floating market by tut-tut (some sort like taxi but without air-cond). It costs 400B for two ways. Compared to the transport from hotel, we had saved half of the cost travel to floating market. Another plus point is that the tut-tut is equipped with a 19-inch Sumsung LCD TV and a PROTON-brand woofer. The sound is so loud that as we were in the centre of the road, everyone paid their attention on the vehicle!

>On the tut-tut

>Floating market

>Worm~worm~worm~~

>Selling Pao's

>Thai's style sushi

>Bird eye view of floating market

>The cups given to customers who buy drinks

We were given 1 hour in the floating market before he fetched us back to the hotel. There are so many food sold in the market such as pancake, sushi, worms (the most unique food), sweet corn, belacan rice, thai fried rice, satay and etc. At night, we were walking along the street side to buy some souvenirs.

>One of the souveniors

The activities that we did after the floating market are almost the same, that is ‘shop..shop…. shop…!~ Hence, I don’t wish to further elaborate. A picture speaks more than thousand words~ Enjoy yourself^^ bye~

NB: the exchange rate for thai baht is 9.57 at the moment & the time in Thailand is 1 hour slower than in Malaysia
