Shogun
Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 84%
Yesterday, all my housemates and I went to 1-U to have our dinner at the Japanese restaurant, Shogun. We planned this few days ago, but unexpectedly, we are still able to achieve the planned (usually it won’t success XD….). At 3pm yesterday, I started to rush back from the library so that we will be having some time for shopping at 1-U before the Mega-sale ends. We reached there about 4.45pm and we still have some time to go search for my ‘target’… fcuk t-shirt.
When we approached the shop, we were so happy that we saw a big ‘SALE’ banner pasted on the wall. It is even written there 30%....40%.... Without hesitating, we straight away went into the shop to look for my plain-black-colored t-shirt with the word ‘fcuk’ in front. However, I was told that the t-shirt is new-arrival and it is sold at the normal price RM109. Oh no…. no choice but I have to put it aside as buying a t-shirt for more than hundred ringgit is definitely not worth. Next, we went to another shop, Zara. My friend bought a t-shirt from there for only RM30. It is really cheap!
At 6.15pm we headed to Shogun restaurant. After waiting for few years (yup, I have been thinking of going there when I first went to 1-U), finally I have a chance to step into that restaurant and this made me having such a high expectation on the food. All of us were stunned when we saw the great variety of food placed so nicely on the table for us to grab. ‘wei…wei…..so nice la’…’paying only 60 for the buffet is so worth!!’ …. ‘they are even better than E&O’ … we are looking forward to try the food ….The food is ranging from the Japanese style sushi, sashimi & tepanyaki, Thai-style tomyam & spicy-stemed fish to some of the Western style food such as stick & Chinese dim sum. Haha.. this is only the beginning of the story!!
When we tasted all the food it the 1st round, it was really delicious (perhaps we were so hungry at the moment…) Suddenly, one of my friend saw a dead-cockroach on the squid taken. We were shocked and we have lost all of our appetite. I asked to guy wearing formal-shirt to our table and show him the ‘interesting’ thing. To my disappointment, what the response from him was ‘oh..cockroach? oo…okok’ Then he took the plate away without making any explanation to us. Perhaps all of us haven’t encountered such situation before and don’t even know how to make noise and grab everyone’s attention. Hmm…ok.. we learnt a lesson!!!
Then we continue for the 2nd round and so on. The only food that I like the most is that tempura-prawns that I’ll queue up for an hour just for that food during the sushi-king RM2 promotion. For the dessert, it is really not much different from normal buffet that I can’t even find a cheese-cake from there. The ice-cream? Haiz….i think it is not much different from the Nestle ice-cream sold in Tesco…
Overall the ratings (out of 10 points) of Shogun are as below:
Environment: 7.5
Variety of Food: 9
Quality of Food: 6
Service: 5
Cleanliness: 5
Price: 7
**** Overall (as voted from all of us) : 6.5
So, I say さようなら (sayounara) to Shogun. That’s all for today. Bye~

2nd Attempt to Broga Hill
Weather: Sunny
Level of Happiness: 85%
That was my 2nd attempt to Broga Hill. We start our journey at 3.40am and reach the foot of Broga hill at around 4.30am. We start the hiking after taking some photos there. Compared to the first time, there were fewer people over there. There are three ‘check-points’ on the way to the summit of Broga Hill. We will definitely spend some time to snap some photos whenever we reach a ‘check-point’ as there is a ‘professional’ photographer together with us. It took us 45 minutes to reach the summit.
This is the 1st time that all of us reach the summit of the mountain!!! Even some of the experienced one hasn’t been to there before and we really felt proud of it. The only thing that we are not satisfied is we were unable to see the sunrise, probably due to the cloudy sky. However, I’m quite happy with that since out skin won’t turn darker as a result of the exposure to the intense sunlight. Haha…
The toughest part of hiking is not other than going down from the mountain as the land is quite slippery. After the hiking, we visited to the nearest temple and snapped some photos there.
After taking out lunch there, we continue to our last destination of that day – Klang. Since all of us heard that the Bak Kut Teh over there is the best in Malaysia, we decided to give it a try. To my disappointment, I personally don’t felt any special on the food, probably some of the food already sold out at that time.
We went back after the Bak Kut Teh. One thing interesting is that we totally passed through totally 12 tolls in this trip, thanks to GPS. Haha…
That’s all for today. Bye~
